TRS winning 16 LS seats will be of no use: Laxman

Hyderabad: State BJP president Dr K. Laxman today hit out at the TRS party saying that it could do nothing even if it bagged 16 MP seats in the State. Stating that TRS leader Harish Rao had emerged as a competitor to TRS working president K Tarakarama Rao in the ruling party, Laxman welcomed the decision of the Election Commission to hold general elections on April 11 in the two Telugu States in the first phase. He said they would field its candidates in all the 17 Lok Sabha constituencies in the State.

Addressing mediapersons in New Delhi, along with senior party leaders Bandaru Dattatraya and G Kishan Reddy, Laxman said they have already launched election campaigning in 14 Lok Sabha constituencies. Laxman said they would hold discussions on the selection of candidates with party chief Amit Shah during their visit .
