TRS to win 110 seats out of 119, says Telangana Minister

Hyderabad: Telangana Energy and Social Welfare Minister G Jagdish Reddy has claimed, in the coming assembly elections, TRS will win 110 seats out of the total 119 seats in the state.

Reddy is one among in the close circle of Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao. He claimed that in Nalgonda district, all 12 seats would be won by the TRS, reports DC.

While addressing the media on Friday, Minister said, the survey conducted by Telangana Rashtra Samiti revealed that in Nalgonda district, Huzur-Nagar, Kodad and Nalgonda are also going to be won by TRS in the next assembly elections. He said of the remaining 9 seats in the old city, MIM will win.

When inquired about the inclusion of TRS in the Union Cabinet, the Minister said these were only speculations. Chief Minister has a close relationship with the Prime Minister Narendra Modi and when asked whether this meant an alliance in the future, Reddy said it was not good for any state to go for the confrontation with the centre. For the development of the state it was necessary to maintain a cordial relationship with the centre, but at the time of elections, they could fight politically.
