TRS will remain in power: Vivek

Hyderabad: TRS leader and former MP G Vivek Venkatswamy today said the TRS will win the mandate and form the government. KCR will be the next Chief Minister in Telangana as the Assembly poll results will be announced on Tuesday, he said.

Speaking to the media here today, Vivek said former MP Lagadapati Rajagopal, who was expecting an MP seat from Vijayawada and gave Telangana poll survey results in favour of the Congress-TDP alliance. Along with his family members, Vivek had the darshan of Lord Venkateshwara at Tirumala. He said he prayed to Lord Balaji to ensure victory to the TRS and KCR to become chief minister.

Vivek expressed his displeasure at Lagadapati Rajagopal for his fake survey predicting debacle to the ruling TRS and showing favour to the Congress-led Kutami. There was no clarity on the Lagadapati’s survey as the winds are in favour of the TRS, he asserted. Rajagopal was expecting MP seat from the Congress alliance and gave survey report in its favour and it will be disproved when the results to be out on Tuesday, Vivek said, adding that Rajagopal gave rather a confusing survey and previous one in 2009 gave wrong results, he said. The TRS will get the mandate and KCR will be next chief minister, he reiterated.
