Hyderabad: The TRS party is Srirama Raksha for Telangana State, according to former minister T Harish Rao. He accompanied Kotha Prabhakar for filing his nomination for LS polls from Medak here.
Speaking on the occasion, Harish Rao said the TRS will be playing a key role this time at the Centre after the ensuing parliamentary polls. Thanking Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao for giving Prabhakar Reddy another opportunity for the MP post, Harish Rao exhorted the people to give him mandate for the cause of the people. Harish Rao and Kotha Prabhakar performed pujas at Konaipally Venkateshwara Swamy Temple before filing the nomination. Harish Rao said TRS supremo KCR has been making a winning streak as he worshipped at this temple. He also hoped that Prabhakar would win the polls with the blessings of Lord Venkateshwara.
The general elections will not see the return of the BJP or the Congress which are set to face people’s ire, he alleged. He appealed to the people of the constituency to vote for TRS candidate Kotha Prabhakar Reddy by huge majority. Harish Rao appealed. to the people to exercise their franchise for the TRS so that the party’s MPs would bring more funds.
