(Siasat News) Mr. T. Harish Rao, TRS MLA told the news reporter of Siasat that there is no possibility of any political alliance with any party in the next elections. TRS has succeeded in getting Telangana and hence it will contest alone. If need be, the possibilities of political alliance would be considered at the opportune time.
Lamenting on the backwardness of Old city of Hyderabad Mr. Harish Rao presented the examples of developmental work in the new city. He felt sorry for the educational, social and economic backwardness of Muslims in the old city. When Mr.Harish Rao was asked that he knows the reasons for the backwardness of old city, what are the plans of TRS for the development of old city and specially for the Muslims.
Mr. Harish Rao told that TRS is aware of the issues of the Old city. He said that Malakpet Racecourse would be converted into an industrial hub which would generate employment of hundreds of unemployed youths. There is a proposal to establish more residential colleges in the Old city. During the tenure of office of Mr. Chandrababu Naidu and Dr. Y.S.R. no developmental work was done. Both of them cheated the people of Old city. Majlis also did not pay attention towards the backwardness of the Old city, the results of which we are seeing now.
Mr. Harish Rao further told that Quli Qutub Shah Development Authority was formed and an IAS officer was appointed but due to non release of funds it became defunct. Govt. and Majlis neglected it. The policies of nexus between Congress and Majlis are before us. This is the reason that if every section of the society in the Old city is economically backward.
