Hyderabad, May 24: TRS has made it clear that no option other than passing of separate Telangana state bill in parliament is acceptable. Party MLA Hareesh Rao reacted strongly on the reports of setting up of second States Reorganisation Commission (SRC) and said that any such attempt will be the cause of dire consequences.
He further said that Home minister’s statement that there is no change in centre’s stand on Telangana issue, is a cause of satisfaction but P Chidambaram should make it clear that the centre sticks on the announcement made on December 9, 2009.
Hareesh Rao reiterated that any attempt to delay Telangana issue will not be acceptable by the people.
Hareesh Rao claimed that 14 states have been formed across the country without any SRC. Telangana issue is pending for 50 years and people will not tolerate any further delay.
