TRS threatens Kodandaram with blackmail tactics : Kishen

Bowing to the blackmail tactics of Telangana Rashtra Samithi, Bharatiya Janata Party president G Kishen Reddy on Wednesday stated the Telangana Political Joint Action Committee took `unilateral’ decision in extending support to TRS in by-election of Parakala Assembly constituency.

Talking to media persons at BJP party office, Nampally, Kishen Reddy stated that JAC chairman Prof M Kodandaram took this biased decision as the TRS threatened him with black mail tactics that he would shunted out from his chairman post if he did not back the TRS in the ensuing by-elections from Parakala constituency.

Stating that JAC chairman Prof M Kodandaram acted hastily, Kishen Reddy advised him to reconsider his decision.

Stating that the BJP had anguished over the decision of the JAC, he said the victory of TRS from Parakala constituency would not benefit the statehood agitation.

He said that the BJP victory from Parakala constituency would increase chances of Telangana state formation.

Responding to `Bharat Bandh’ called by Opposition parties on May 31 in protest against petrol price hike, he appealed to all parties to voluntarily participate in bandh and make it a grand success.

Rubbishing the allegations that BJP extending support to YSR Congress president Jagan Mohan Reddy, he said that the party would continue its fight against corruption.
