TRS survey bogus: Shabbir challenges KTR to quit and face election again

Hyderabad: Leader of the Opposition in Telangana Legislative Council, Mr. Mohammed Ali Shabbir dared KCR to go for early elections if he has belief in surveys. “At least, KCR should make his son KT Ramarao to resign from his Sircilla seat and seek fresh election. The Congress was ready to contest in Sircilla and the result will reveal the strength of TRS in the State”, he said and wondered how KTR scaled up to 91 percent from 46 percent within two months in his survey.

Dubbing KCR’s survey as ‘Kiladi Survey’, MLC Ponguleti Sudhakar Reddy alleged that KCR was releasing surveys one by one only to sidetrack the public issues. He said both the TRS and BJP were creating election atmosphere in the State with challenges and counter challenges.

Congress senior leader T Jeevan Reddy demanded that Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao make the MLAs defected to his party to resign and contest elections instead of conducting surveys again and again.
Speaking to the media here on Sunday, Jeevan Reddy asked the TRS supremo why he was conducting surveys again and again. Conducting surveys repeatedly shows that KCR has little confidence against his MLAs, he said and alleged that the State government was trying to hoodwink the people in the name of surveys. He also slammed the Chief Minister saying that the latter transformed the State as debt-ridden. He predicted KCR’s defeat in Gajwel in the next election.
