Hyderabad: ‘When will the Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP chief Amit Shah fulfill their promise of bringing back lakhs of crores of black money stashed in foreign Banks, and give Rs.15 lakh to each citizen, as promised on the eve of the last general elections’.
This was the question being posed by many supporters of TRS, who are irked at Amit Shah’s poser on Sunday at Warangal and other places, as to when will Telangana caretaker Chief Minister KCR fulfill the promise of making a Dalit as chief Minister. The supporters of TRS are of the view that it was futile on the part of the political leaders to raise the issue of fulfilling the election promises, as all the major political parties have failed to implement them, without exception of BJP, Congress, TDP and TRS. They are also asking when will the Prime Minister fulfill the promise of providing one crore jobs to the unemployed youth in the country.
They further point out that the Congress party at the Centre and in the earlier united Andhra Pradesh, had made several promises, but failed to fulfill the same; but now they are talking of TRS Government’s failure to implement the Assurances given to the people. Similarly, the TDP had made several promises to the people of Andhra Pradesh on the eve of last general elections, but failed to fulfill many of them. Inclusion of Kapus in BCs, Unemployment allowance to jobless people are among the promises made by TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu, but they remained only on paper, TRS supporters point out.
