Hyderabad: BJP state president K Laxman on Friday termed the ruling TRS party as a sinking ship. He said that the ruling TRS party working president was shocked after seeing the members number of their party.

Referring to the comments of KTR that the BJP was quoting fake membership figures in order to mislead the people of the state, he alleged that the membership figures of the TRS party were fake in nature. He cited that the TRS party has quoted its membership as 72,000 when it got just 62,000 votes in the recent elections in Mulug Assembly constituency.
He alleged that the membership figure of the party in Suryapeta assembly constituency was also fake. He claimed that the TRS party was scared of the growing popularity of the BJP in the state. He claimed that their party has 30 lakh members in the state.
