TRS has secret tie-up with MIM, BJP and TD: Bhatti

Alleging that the ruling TRS has an internal understanding with MIM, BJP and TDP, TPCC Working President Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka has said the best example for it was TRS leaders, including Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has not visited Hyderabad Central University (HCU) yet though several leaders across the nation, including two Chief Ministers visited it in connection with Dalit research scholar Rohit Vemula’s suicide thinking that the BJP may be annoyed.

Speaking at the ‘Meet-the-Press’ program organized by the Telangana State Union of Working Journalists (TUWJ) and Hyderabad Union of Journalists (HUJ) jointly on GHMC elections at Basheerbagh Press Club here on Wednesday, Bhatti said the ‘Brand Image’ of Hyderabad will be fall down in case the TRS, MIM, BJP and TDP come to power in Hyderabad.

Making it clear that the Congress party was not politicizing Rohit Vemula’s death for its political gains, Bhatti said Rohit’s suicide was painful. Ridiculing BJP allegations that the political parties were using Rohit’s death for their political gains, Bhatti said the BJP was only raking up the issues for its political survival. Faulting IT Minister KT Ramarao for dubbing TPCC Chief N Uttam Kumar Reddy as ‘Utta’ Kumar Reddy and Bhatti Vikramarka as ‘Vatti’ Virkamarka, Bhatti said what are Bhatti and Uttam will be known in the 2019 elections. He said, “I look at KTR as a minister, but the minister was making statements like a joker. I can’t stoop to such level”, he said and warned the minister not to speak as he wished.

Alleging that the MIM and BJP were resorting to politics on the basis of religion, Bhatti said the City will be in danger if the BJP or MIM come to power and the City would lose its brand image. He also ruled out any alliance with the MIM in future also under any circumstances. Asserting that the TRS was spreading sectarian and hatred ideology and was trying to wrest GHMC with political pressure, Bhatti asked the Hyderabad citizens to bear in mind that Hyderabad will be in danger if the TRS comes to power with hatred ideology. “The TRS leader (KTR) is speaking like a monarch”, he alleged and said the TRS was resorting to opportunistic politics at the time of elections every time for the sake of votes.

Responding to a question, Bhatti said one has to think deeply that the TRS government was giving power uninterruptedly because 24 lakh pump sets were not working as the farmers were not cultivating crops due to lack of rains and hence the power was diverted to domestic and industrial sector. Stating that an announcement of Mayoral candidate before the GHMC elections was a strategic move, Bhatti made it clear that his party will announce the name of Mayoral candidate depending upon the current political situation.

To a question, Bhatti said the TRS government did nothing in the Hyderabad city during the past 18 months except erecting hoardings with photos claiming that the TRS government brought Godavari Waters to City, Metro Rail project and so on. Raising the slogan “Save Hyderabad-Save Brand Image”, Bhatti asked the voters to cast their valuable votes to secular Congress party to save Hyderabad from the danger to be created by religious parties.
