TRS role decisive at Centre with 16 MP seats: Jagadish

Hyderabad: The TRS party will become a decision-making power at the Centre on winning 16 MP seats in the upcoming Lok Sabha polls in 2019, according to former minister G Jagadish Reddy.

Addressing a TRS meeting at Tirumalagiri in Suryapet district, Jagadish Reddy said the TRS will emerge victorious in efforts in future and bring a qualitative change in national politics. Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao was on a federal front mission for an alternative at the national level. The Congress and the BJP governments at the centre have miserably failed to meet the expectations of the people which forced KCR to come up with federal front, he said. The people, leaders and the activists of the ruling party should support KCR in this regard.

He appealed to the cadre to work together to win Panchayat and Lok Sabha elections in favour of the TRS. The entire country was looking at the Telangana as the people gave massive mandate again for the TRS and KCR became Chief Minister for second time consecutively. He also said giving promotion to KT Rama Rao, a young and dynamic leader, as working president of the party, will help strengthen the party at grass-root level and districts.
