Hyderabad, September 20: Senior Congress leader G Venkataswamy and little-known Telangana outfits today criticised TRS president K Chandrasekhar Rao for his remarks that all those born in Telangana belonged to the region and for his alleged praise of Congress MP L Rajagopal.
Venkataswamy, a former Union Minister, asked whether the TRS president had a clandestine understanding with the leaders from non-Telangana regions.
Chandrasekhar Rao would never be able to realise the formation of separate Telangana state, Venkataswamy claimed.
Meanwhile, Ma Telangana Party, a little-known outfit, held a protest outside Chandrasekhar Rao’s residence at posh Banjara Hills here. The protesters were removed from the place by police.
The protesters took exception to the TRS president’s remarks that all those who were born in Telangana were sons of the soil.
