Telangana Praja Samithi (TPS) president Neera Kishore today accused the TRS Government of deliberately delaying recruitment drive to fill about 1.12 lakh posts only to gain in elections. “The TRS regime is playing politics for votes and ignored for four years the plight of youth for jobs”, she alleged.
In a pressnote today, Neera Kishore said the TRS leadership during the statehood movement conducted several protests and agitations for filling posts in combined State. However, on coming to power, the TRS leadership has swiftly forgotten for four years to take up any drive for recruitment, she alleged. “The youths are awaiting jobs and the government was yet to take a firm step to fill the posts lying vacant since a long time”, she added.
Despite his promise to fill 1.12 lakh jobs at Assembly, Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is yet to take a determined step towards that direction, she alleged. KCR seems to be reluctant in taking an initiative to fill these vacant posts, Neera Kishore charged. The TRS dispensation, she said, is ought to fulfil the aspirations of the youth and people who are awaiting jobs as the TRS leadership spoken much about 1.68 lakh jobs.
She also found fault with the Government for releasing notifications and changing attitude in the wake of court directive to fill posts in old districts. This can be attributed to lack of vision and determination to fill the vacancies, she deplored. Youth, students and people, who are aware of government failure in filling posts will teach a lesson to the TRS in the ensuing elections. (NSS)
