Telangana TTDP president L Ramana today complained to Chief Secretary Rajiv Sharma and DGP Anurag Sharma alleging that ‘TRS’ party provoked incidents like setting fire to a stage at Warangal where Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu was to address on Thursday.
In a letter addressed to them separately, Ramana stated the police failed to take steps even after being informed and sought protection. Ramana said they would complain to Governor ESL Narasimhan on the attacks and incidents. He urged the CS to take necessary steps to ensure that the TD meeting be held in a smooth manner.
He also complained that some vested interests provoked by TRS party set fire to local party office in Warangal. He has appealed to the authorities concerned to prevent such attacks and enable the TDP to conduct its programs. (NSS)
