AICC Spokesperson Madhu Yashki Goud has accused Telangana Rashtra Samithi of promoting communal forces in the State.
Speaking to media persons in Assembly premises here on Tuesday, Madhu Yashki alleged that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao has been making efforts to get a Union Cabinet berth for his daughter and Nizamabad MP K Kavitha. Meanwhile, Kavitha has been trying hard to get closer to the Sangh Parivar. While inviting Union Minister Uma Bharathi to launch Godavari Pushkaralu in Kandakurthi of Nizamabad district, Kavitha claimed that Kandakurthi is the ancestral village of RSS founder Hedgewar. By trying to link Nizamabad with communal forces, Kavitha is trying to vitiate the atmosphere, he alleged.
Madhu Yaskhi said that Nizamabad has been a symbol of communal harmony and would remain so despite TRS leaders making efforts to communalise the atmosphere. He said that the TRS has been practicising fake secularism. (INN)
