Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao on Tuesday announced that the elections for the post of TRS President will be held on April 24 this year.
Addressing the TRS extended meeting at Kompally here, KCR said that the party’s membership drive would continue till February 20. Elections for the village and ward level committees will be held from 1st to 10th March while the mandal and municipal level elections will be completed from 11th to 20th March. The elections for district level committees will be held in the first week of April and the party’s extended meeting will be held on April 24 to elect the president. He also announced that the TRS would organise massive celebration of party’s formation day on April 27. (INN)
