Thanks to bird flu scare, the delegation of TRS plenary session to begin from April 24 will be deprived of popular Hyderabadi chicken Biryani. In view of the warning on bird flu ruling TRS has skipped Chicken Biryani from the menu. Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is said to have directed the food committee to avoid Chicken Biryani and other chicken items, keeping in view the health of the delegates.
It must be noted that thousands of chicken have been killed in Rangareddy and other areas. Government has directed health department and municipality to keep eye on poultry farms and chicken retail shops to prevent sale of chicken.
Around 50000 delegated are likely to attend the TRS plenary session.
