Hyderabad, September 6: Some political parties are preparing to observe liberation day on September 17 on the occasion of Hyderabad merger day. However Telangana Rashtra Smithi has decided to observe the day as homage day of Asif Jah VII. President TRS minority cell and politburo member Mohammad Mahmood Ali has condemned observation of liberation day on September 17 by some corners. He said last year also TRS had paid tributes to the last ruler of Hyderabad Nawab Mir Osman Ali Khan on the same date. He further said it would be appealed to Telangana Political Joint Action Committee to observe 17th September as Hyderabad merger day and pay tribute to the services of Asif Jah VII for the people.
He said the day is always observed as liberation day by communal forces which is infact ingratitude towards the services of Asif Jah VII.
