Declaring Congress as a secular party President Greater Hyderabad Congress Committee D Nagendar termed TRS as an opportunist party and BJP as communalist party. Addressing at a press conference at CLP office assembly he said Congress will play constructive role in the formation of Telangana. Congress has vision, it has plan for welfare and development of people, Congress only can do social justice.
Mr. Nagendar said TRS had announced to merge with Congress but after the announcement of Telangana formation it went back to its words. He said BJP has challenged secularism by nominating Modi as the prime ministerial candidate who was directly and indirectly involved in the Gujarat carnage.
