President Telangana Rashtra Samithi has named Mohammed Mahmood Ali president minority cell as TRS candidate for MLC elections under MLA quota. Party has nominated Mohammed Mahmood Ali as the candidate for MLC for the second consecutive time. Chandrasekhar Rao announced during his Karimnagar visit that minorities cell president Mohammad Mahmood Ali would be the party nominee for the MLC elections.
He admitted that the party does not have required number of MLAs to make the candidate victorious but he hoped that Mohammed Mahmood Ali will win the elections with the support of separate Telangana. He told that Telangana Nigara Samithi leader Dr. Nagam Janardhan has announced support for Mohammad Ali. He is in touch with MIM, BJP and CPI to seek support for the minority candidate.
