TRS MP Keshava Rao’s family involvement gives new twist to multi-crore Miyapur land scam

HYDERABAD: All the names of big wigs and close and trusted aides to Chief Minister KCR are coming out in the in the land scam.

After Damodara Rao, TRS Rajya Sabha MP Dr. K Keshava Rao’s name has surfaced in the Ibrahimpatnam land scam to tarnish the image of KCR.

Keshava, former Congress Chief is the Secretary-General of ruling TRS is a close ally of CM KCR.

Telugu daily ‘Andhra Jyoti’ alleges that MP’s only daughter and daughter-in-law daughter and other leaders are involved in the Ibrahimpatnam land scam.

KK’s daughter Gadwala Vijayalakshmi is also a Corporator from Banjara Hills division.

Daughter Gadwala and daughter-in-law one Jyotsna, illegally purchased 50 acres land in Dandumailaram in the name of Navajyothi and got them registered. Dandumailaram village near Ibrahimpatnam Mandal of RR district is 50 km from the city.

The present market value of the 50-acre piece of land is Rs 200 crore at Rs 4 crore per acre, according to revenue officials.

It should be noted that 38-acre forest land brought from the primary accused in the Miyapur land scam Goldstone firms belongs Survey number 36 which has around 3200 government land, therefore the then registrar Madhusudhan Reddy had rejected the application.

But Saleha Khadir temporarily appointed as sub-registrar illegally registered 38 acres of land on the names of KK’s family members. She was placed under suspension.

Refuting the allegations, very agitated KK confirmed the reporters that there is no dispute and his family members bought the lands legally with all the necessary documents.

Astonishingly, the 6-acre land near Shamshabad village which Goldstone firms had registered to KK’s family for an inadequate amount of money is part of Paigah properties of the royal dynasty.
