A Swachh Bharat Awareness Campaign was conducted at Lingampalli Railway Station on Wednesday.
TRS MP Konda Visweswar Reddy led the campaign. P.C.Tamta, Additional Divisional Manager, Ravi P Padi, Senior Divisional Commercial Manager, T. Ramachandran, Senior Divisonal Engineer (West), Secunderabad Division, SCR, Navari Prabhakar Reddy, Member, DRUCC and Balaji Prasad, Vice President, Citizens Hospital were amongst those present.
Visweswar Reddy inspected the waiting halls and platform areas and expressed his appreciation at the cleanliness standards maintained at the station. He interacted with the travelling public and requested them to make proper use of dust bins and help in the endeavor to keep the station clean. He counseled that garbage should not be thrown in public premises and stressed on the positives of a clean station premises. He also distributed approns to the cleaning staff at the station. Amongst the large gathering of public who participated in the campaign, were students of Sharadha High School. (INN)
