Medak, November 13: Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) Lok Sabha member and actress Vijaya Shanti today expressed resentment over the statement of Prime Minister Manmohan Singh who has said the Telangana statehood issue could be settled only through consensus. Talking to mediapersons here, she said Mr Singh, who was silent in Parliament when the Telangana issued was raised, had now made a statement much to disappointment of four-crore Telanganaites. Ms Shanti said it had become clear now that the Telangana state would not come into reality till 2014. Charging the Congress MPs of the region with remaining silent even after the remarks of the Prime Minister, the noted film actress said the second SRC was a wasteful exercise.
