TRS MP advises Rahul to visit AP

Strongly opposing the Rythu Bharosa Padayatra of Rahul Gandhi, TRS MP Balka Suman has advised the AICC Vice-President to tour Andhra Pradesh instead of Telangana.

Speaking to media persons here on Thursday, Suman said Rahul Gandhi’s Telangana tour was aimed at drawing political mileage out of suicides committed by farmers. He said that the TRS Government has been taking measures to support the farmer and their families. However, he said that the farmers were in bad shape in Andhra Pradesh where the TDP Government has been snatching away their lands in the name of new capital.

The TRS MP said that the silence adopted by Congress party, especially Rahul Gandhi, over the land acquisition drive by AP Government clearly indicates that they were having a secret understanding with the TDP Government. (INN)
