TRS MLA slams Nagam for anti-KCR remarks

TRS MLA G Balaraju has slammed BJP leader Nagam Janardhan Reddy for his remarks against Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao.

Speaking to media persons at Telangana Bhavan here on Sunday, Balaraju said that Nagam has been trying to please the BJP Government at the Centre to get some important post by making statements against KCR. Having played an active role during statehood movement, he said Nagam should have played an active role in the re-construction of Telangana State. However, instead of supporting the new government, Nagam has been trying to destabilise the State Government, he alleged.

Balaraju asked the Telangana BJP to explain its contribution in getting Central benefits for the new State. He said that the BJP leader did not make a single effective representation to their own government at the Centre on the matters concerning Telangana.

The TRS MLA also slammed the BJP for nominating T Jayaprakash Reddy alias Jagga Reddy as its candidate for Medak by-elections. He said that the TRS would win the Medak Lok Sabha with a huge majority. (INN)
