TRS MLA challanges Naidu to accept probe into assets

Hyderabad, May 31: TRS MLA K T Rama Rao today challenged TDP President N Chandrababu Naidu to agree for a probe into his assets.

Addressing a press conference while responding to remarks made during the annual ‘Mahanadu’ meeting by TDP chief that TRS President K Chandrasekhara Rao was indulged in blackmail politics and corruption, Mr Rama Rao said that they were ready for any probe into their assets.

Chandrasekhara Rao’s son Rama Rao also alleged that Naidu, who had only two acres of land in his ancestral village at Chandragiri Constituency in Chittoor district, rose to become the ‘richest politician in the country.

TRS also alleged that the TDP went back on its promise to support Telangana cause after the Centre made the announcement in the year 2009 that separate Telangana state would be formed.
