Hyderabad, November 23: Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) leadership wants to lead delegations to Delhi to meet Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to bring pressure on the Congress-led UPA government to deliver Telangana state.
With Srikrishna Committee report due on December 31, the TRS wants to give enough time to the government to study the report. In February, the TRS will lead delegations in a phased manner to Delhi.
The TRS wants all sections of society to express their voices before the Prime Minister on the Telangana issue.
Independent of Telangana JAC, the TRS has started its own organisations by roping in all sections.
The delegations will continue till May after which the party will take up the movement with a new action plan.
Besides, the TRS plans to utilise the floor of the Assembly to raise the demand.
