Hyderabad, March 21: Telangana Rashtra Samithi president K Chandrasekhara Rao, who has been caught in neck-deep trouble over cross voting by his own party MLAs in the MLC elections, is now facing a spate of allegations from the rivals. According to one of the allegations is that KCR had come to an understanding with the Congress party in securing a Rajya Sabha ticket for his daughter Kalwakuntla Kavitha in the next year elections to the upper house. They say Kavitha is very keen in taking a plunge into active politics and wants to play a role in the national politics.
The Congress high command is said to have given an assurance to KCR to this effect.
But before that the Telangana issue has to be settled, which is likely to take place in the next three or four months. And KCR will have no hesitation by then to join hands with the Congress party!
