TRS govt stifling voice of TUF leader Vimalakka: Congress

Alleging that the TRS government was predisposing the freedom of expression in the State, TPCC working president Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka said it was trying to suppress Telangana United Front (TUF) leader Vimalakka using police. “It is nothing but violation of human rights”, he said and condemned the attitude of the TRS government.

Speaking to the media after paying tributes at the Ambedkar Statue at Liberty crossroads and at Gandhi Bhavan here on Tuesday, Bhatti asked the people to raise their voice against Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao’s State violence. The TRS government was targeting those, who questioned the questionable functioning of the State government. The TRS government was trying to malign Telangana Political JAC chairman Prof. M Kodandaram branding him as a ‘Congress Agent’ failing to answer to his questions. He also warned that they will keep the TRS party on ventilator in the near future and stated that the TRS party was afraid of Congress party. The TRS was not in a position to answer the questions raised by the Congress, he alleged.

The TRS State government was disposing the SC, ST Sub-plan by diverting funds released under it.  The State government has to release a white paper on SC, ST Sub-plan funds released in the last two-and-a-half years, he demanded. The TRS government has to continue the Pranahitha-Chevella project’s name of Ambedkar project. (NSS)
