TRS govt not taking action against corporate colleges: Kishan Reddy

Telangana State BJP floor leader G Kishan Reddy has alleged that the TRS government was not taking any action against corporate colleges as promised before coming to power in the State.

           

Speaking to the media today, Kishan Reddy said the TRS had said that it would take action against erring corporate colleges if formed government. But the ruling party failed to do it, he said. The BJP leader also said the corporate colleges had fear before formation of new state of Telangana. But the behavior of these college managements is apprehensible, the BJP MLA said and alleged that college managements are fleecing parents of students by taking exorbitant fees, but the state government became a silent spectator which is not taking any action. He questioned as to why the state government was not taking action against these colleges even though students are committing suicides due to various reasons.

The BJP leader said vigilance enforcement committee has submitted report to the State government, but the government was not taking any action. Narayana and Sri Chaitanya colleges have MPC, BiPC but it did not have Arts subjects. There were no basic facilities and there was no qualified teaching staff. Narayana and Sri Chaitnya colleges have become prisons and the managements of these colleges are amassing money.

Kishan Reddy said there was a corruption in the State Intermediate Board. He termed the Board of Intermediate  as Narayana Sri Chaitanya board. The BJP MLA said his party would raise the issue in the Assembly to bring notice of the CM. (NSS)
