TRS Govt neglecting Fees Reimbursement Scheme: Uttam

TPCC Chief N Uttam Kumar Reddy has alleged that the TRS government was intentionally neglecting Fees Re-imbursement Scheme, which helped poor students to pursue education freely, introduced by the previous Congress government.

Addressing the NSUI leaders at Gandhi Bhavan here on Tuesday, Uttam asked the NSUI activists to meet every student in the State and take fees re-imbursement ‘memorandum’ compulsorily from them and see that the ‘memorandum’ reaches the government to benefit every student. He opined that the program would become a big success only when NSUI activists’ work with fighting spirit. He suggested to them to meet every student of every college in the State and discuss with them on fees reimbursement scheme.

The TPCC president assured the NSUI leaders that the Congress leaders and Youth Congress leaders would extend their full cooperation in this regard. He said he would be available to participate in important meetings. He called upon the activists to strengthen NSUI in every college. (NSS)
