TRS Govt may revive Bangaru Talli scheme: KTR

Telangana Panchayat Raj Minister K Tarakarama Rao on Friday informed that Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao was keen to revive the Bangaru Talli scheme.

Speaking to media persons here, KTR said that the Bangaru Talli scheme has remained defunct for the last six months and it could be revived soon. He said that the scheme could benefit girl children if properly implement and a report has been sought from the officials on their proper implementation. He said that the TRS Government would introduce several new schemes to benefit the people directly.

Earlier, he also held review meeting with the Panchayat Raj Department and asked them to study the functioning of PR Department in Karnataka and Kerela to adopt the best practices. (INN)
