TRS govt “insensitive” to woes of people: Telangana Cong

Hyderabad: Alleging that TRS government in Telangana was “insensitive” to the woes of people in the aftermath of demonetisation of high currency notes, state Congress president N Uttam Kumar Reddy today said the government was “wasting” public money by building a new residential complex for the Chief Minister.

Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao got a luxurious building complex constructed for himself at a cost of Rs 40 crore at a time when common people were suffering due to the demonetisation decision of the NDA government, Reddy alleged.

Hitting out at the NDA government for throwing the country’s economy into chaos with “thoughtless” demonetisation, Reddy said Congress would organise ‘Akrosh Diwas’ on November 28 as per AICC’s call.
