BJP floor leader Dr K Lakshman on Friday said that the TRS Government should present a realistic budget for the year 2015-16.
Speaking to media persons here, Lakshman said that the State Government did not spend even 40% of the budget allocations for the year 2014-16. Therefore, instead of having Rs 1 lakh crore plus budget, the government should have a realistic approach to the annual budget. He also alleged that the TRS Government has failed to implement the major promises that it made with the people during elections. He said none of the welfare schemes announced in the last budget were properly implemented.
Lakshman informed that the BJP legislators would come in a rally from the GHMC office to Assembly to attend the budget session in order to highlight the indiscriminate collection of Property Tax by the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation. (INN)
