Hyderabad: TDP senior leader and politburo member Ravula Chandrasekhar Reddy today alleged that the TRS government was controlling the government websites and depriving people of information on government orders.
Ravula reminded that it was government’s utmost responsibility to respect people’s views and thoughts in a democracy. But the State government was not uploading GOs in its website, he said and alleged that KCR has asked officials not to upload the GOs on the government website. Under the RTI, the people have right to get information on government’s activities and its functioning. But the TRS government was conspiring to crush the right of the people with such decisions, the TDP leader said. The TDP would raise this issue and bring it to the notice of the Union government, Ravula said, adding that the Centre has allotted Rs 791 crore for drought relief works, but Telangana government failed to use the fund.
