TRS Govt committed to construct projects: Rajeshwar Reddy

TRS MLC Palla Rajeshwar Reddy slammed the opposition parties saying that their celebration of HC judgment scrapping the GO 123 shows the frustration of the opposition parties and their devilish pleasure.

Addressing the media persons here on Friday, the TRS leader said that the state government had ensured that the project oustees got full compensation on the lines of Land Acquisition Act 2013. He said that the government came left it for the farmers to choose compensation either under the provisions of the Land Act 2013 or the GO 123. Besides giving benefits under the GO. 123, the state government also promised employment and house plots to the oustees but the opposition parties misled the farmers by spreading lies.

The TRS leader alleged that the TDP was working against the interests of the state and was opposing every good work of the state government. The TRS government would overcome all hurdles and would go ahead with construction of irrigation projects that would provide long term solutions to irrigation issues.

Rajeshwar slammed the Congress leaders for opposing Mission Bhagiratha saying that the project that is aimed at providing piped drinking water to every household in the state has received support from national institutions NITI Aayog, NABARD. He advised the Congress leaders not to create obstacles in the development of the state.  (INN)
