TRS Government’s welfare schemes for the poor: KTR

Hyderabad: IT Minister of Telangana, Mr. KT Rama Rao and Union Minister of State for Labour, Mr. Bandaru Dattatarya attended the inaugural function of Deepam Scheme held at Necklace Road, Hyderabad.

Speaking on this occasion, Mr. KT Rama Rao told that TRS Govt. has taken many steps for the poor persons of the State. The function was attended by Dy. CM, Mr. Mohammed Mahmood Ali, Home Minister, Mr. N. Narasimha Reddy, Commercial Tax Minister, T. Srinivas Yadav, Ch. Ram Chandra Reddy, MLA, Mr. Mohammed Saleem, MLC and others.

KTR further told that 10 thousand 2BHK houses would be constructed and distributed to poor persons. In the next four years, all the poor persons would get 2BHK houses. He told that people should not fall prey to the middlemen in the allotment of houses. He informed that the previous Govt. had allocated Rs. 10000 for the construction a house. It was not possible to construct a house in this meager amount. In this manner, the earlier Govt. deceived the people. TRS Govt. is spending Rs. 7 lakh on the construction of each house. He also told that auto drivers’ insurance scheme with Rs. 5 lakh has been started. He requested the people to cooperate with the Govt. which has dedicated itself for the welfare of poor people. He said that 8600 LPG Connections are being provided. This scheme would continue in the future also. He informed that very soon Rs. 10 lakh would be provided to women’s groups as interest free loans.

Speaking on this occasion, Commercial Tax Minister, Mr. T. Srinivas Yadav told that it is the biggest achievement of TRS Govt. to supply electricity for 24 hours without interruption.
