A prominent leader of TRS who is also Chairman of Telangana Legislative Council while addressing a gathering on the occasion of Mahatma Jyothi Rao Phule spread venom and gave an impression that he also has the same ideology as Hindutva leaders. In a meeting held at press club Mr. Goud told that increase in population is a danger for Hindu society and advised the community to produce 4 children each family. He did not end by saying this but he alleged that the Muslims are eradicating the history of those who rebelled against the Nizam of Hyderabad.
CM of Telangana State and his Ministers have all praise for the late Nizam but soon after getting elected as Chairman of Telangana Legislative Council on TRS ticket, Mr. Goud’s thoughts exposed the policy of TRS which is concentrating on consolidating majority votes. The attitude of the Government reveals that it is following the path of Hindutva. After the brutal attack of the police on five innocent Muslim youths, the speech of Chairman of Legislative Council cannot be a casualty. The birthday celebrations were attended by BJP leader Dr. K. Lakshman. The ideology of TRS and BJP are quite opposite but it seems that the ideas expressed by Mr. Goud reveal that both the parties have become one and the small party is ready to accept the ideology of a larger party. During his speech Mr. Goud also mentioned Saropa Papanna who revolted against Nizam’s Dynasty. It may be noted that a few days back a sadhavi of Sangh Parivar had also advised the Hindu community to produce more than four children. On her statement there was agitation throughout the country but now a person occupying a constitutional post is making speeches which reveal the policy of the Government and which is an indication that the Government is interested in consolidating majority votes.
