TRS flays Bhatti for CM jibe

TRS MLC Karne Prabhakar today lambasted Congress leader Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka for his alleged remarks against Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao.
Addressing the media at the TRS Bhavan here, Prabhakar asked the Congress leader to control his tongue or else face the music. “We will not keep quiet if the Congress leaders or others indulge in mudslinging activity on the government or the Chief Minister”, he warned. “Vikramarka should keep mum instead of making derogatory remarks against the Chief Minister, who has been trying to develop the State, he said.
He also condemned the Congress leader for finding fault with the Chief Mminister on power issue and other welfare schemes. The Chief Minister was trying his best to provide light to the people who were suffering from power scarcity for many years, he said. Prabhakar also alleged that the Congress leader has created hurdles to Telangana movement. He sought to know why Mallu did not ask for Nagarjuna Sagar left canal waters to Paleru area through lift irrigation earlier and raking up the issue now.
He said Mallu’s remarks are aimed at political mileage. The government is making all-round efforts to tide over power crisis. “We are able to see that there will be no power cuts to agriculture, industries and domestic, he maintained. The TRS leader accused the previous governments of deliberately ignoring the power sector and dumping the farmers and people on many issues. He attributed that the existing power problems to the negligence and inefficiency of the previous governments. The Chief Minister has already made it clear that the Telangana will be a power surplus State after two years and there will be no power cuts, he stated. (NSS)
