The TRS leaders on Monday lodged a complaint with the Banjara Hills Police Station against cine director Puri Jagannath and cine producer Danaiah alleging that the film ‘Cameraman Gangatho Ramababu’ was like insulting Telangana agitation.
Speaking to the media later, TRS politburo member Shravan Kumar alleged that the film was insulting Telangana Talli and Telangana agitation. Puri Jagannath and Danaiah have conspired to provoke differences among the people of the two regions with the film. He expressed displeasure over exhibition of film without deleting objectionable scenes and dialogues. Removal of objectionable scenes was not enough, the film should be banned by the government, he demanded. (NSS)
