TRS Downfall Started with Siddipet—Geetha Reddy

Congress senior leader and PAC Chairman Dr J Geetha Reddy has said that the TRS party’s downfall has  started at  none other than Siddipet, the native place of TRS Chief  and Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao.

           

Speaking to the media here on Tuesday, Geetha Reddy said that the TRS party, which thought that it would clean sweep 34 wards in Siddipet Municipality, faced embarrassing situation as other than TRS party candidates won in 12 wards. It may be recalled that the TRS won in 28 wards including six party rebel candidates, Congress and BJP won two each wards and MIM confined to a  single seat. Interestingly, the TDP not even opened its account in Siddipet Municipal elections. (NSS)
