TRS divided into two groups, supporters of Harish Rao get irritated

Hyderabad: After getting a landslide victory in Assembly elections and oath taking ceremony of Mr. KCR and Mr. Mahmood Ali, TRS seems to be divided into two groups since KCR nominated his son, KTR as working president of the party. The supporters of the second power center, Mr. Harish Rao developed dissent.

It may be mentioned that right from the inception of TRS party in 2001, Mr. Harish Rao has been instrumental in organizing party cadre. Some of the leaders of the party complained that Mr. KCR promoted his son, KTR neglecting Harish Rao who was the hero of the election campaign. They believed that Mr. Harish Rao and Mr. KTR should have been given equal importance. The basis on which TRS gained mass popularity is the irrigation projects for which, Mr. Harish Rao worked on war footings. His services cannot be overlooked. Mr. Harish Rao was also involved to campaign in CM’s constituency, Gajwel and also in Kodangal which was the constituency of Mr. Revanth Reddy. It is said that in both these constituencies, the strategy adopted by Mr. Harish Rao was successful.

Mr. KCR reviewed the progress of irrigation project soon after taking oath in which Mr. Harish Rao was kept away.

Harish Rao is pacifying his supporters and asked them to refrain from taking any action which goes against the party.
