(Siasat News) There is disappointment in TRS circles about the indifference of Congress on Telangana issue. Telangana issue didn’t figure on the agenda of Congress working committee meeting held yesterday.
Mr. Vayalr Ravi told that no decision was taken on Telangana issue. Congress Party has no time to consider this issue. It is expected that Mr. K. Chandrasekhar Rao would come back to Hyderabad in a day or two. TRS M.P. Ms. Vijaya Shanthi and TRS MLA’s have intensified their criticism against Congress. They said that “Chalo Hyderabad” Telagana March would be the last nail in the coffin of Congress. Mr. K. Chandrasekhara Rao has been camping in New Delhi for the past 18 days. He met Mr. Vayalar Ravi for the third time. The meeting lasted for 20 minutes only. Mr. Chandrasekhara Rao said that whatever he wanted to tell, he has already told. Now, it is the responsibility of Congress Party to take a decision. Reliable sources indicated that Congress Party is adopting the policy of dilly dallying. Mr. K. Chandra Sekhara Rao is annoyed on this.
The meeting of Congress Working Committee was held at the residence of Ms. Sonia Gandhi yesterday morning. At the end of the meeting Congress spokesman, Mr. Janardhan Dwivedi told that Telangana issue was not discussed. Later, Mr. Vayalar Ravi told that at present Congress Party has many other issues on its agenda. It has no time to discuss Telangana issue. It will be discussed next month. He told that Congress hasn’t taken any decision yet. He told that Mr. K. Chandrasekhara Rao met him and discussed Telangana issue with him. As far as the merger of TRS into Congress is concerned, media men should seek clarification from TRS itself. He doesn’t feel like commenting this issue.
About the apprehensions of violence on 30th March, he said that C.M. of A.P would take care of it. TRS was careful about supporting the Telangana March so far but after yesterday’s CWC meeting, Ms. Vijaya Shanti intensified her attacks on Congress. It is expected that Mr. K. Chandrasekhara Rao will participate in Telangana March after coming back to Hyderabad.
