TRS demands cancellation, reconduct

Warangal, April 19: The Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) leaders demanded that ongoing Recruitment rally in the city be cancelled and a new one be conducted.

The party activists and leaders staged a dharna alleging that the Army officers have accepted bribes and chosen non-local candidates who attended the interviews with fake certificates.

Later, they submitted a memorandum to Colonel Mathews.

Former MP B Vinod Kumar, former MLA Dasyam Vinay Bhaskar and others led the protest.

Alleging that non-local candidates in a large number have attended the rally and looted the job opportunity of locals, the former MP demanded that a high-level inquiry be launched into the issue. He also sought a probe into the role of middlemen in the Army Recruitment process.
