After assuming power in Telangana State, TRS has now decided to concentrate on strengthening the party right from Mandal level. With the elections of village and Mandal levels, it has completed the process of district level committees formation. After the elections are over, there is proposal to appointment a working president of the party. For this post , it is expected that CM’s son, Mr. K.T.R. might be nominated. Reliable sources indicated that during the plenary session of the party, the announcement of Mr. K.T.R. as working president would be made. An announcement has also been made for filing the nomination of President of TRS. It is understood that more than one nominations in respect of Mr. K. C . R would be filed by various party leaders .
It may be noted that TRS assumed power in the last Assembly elections by getting a majority of only 3 more seats than the required number. With the aim of enthusing new zeal, the party wants to encourage party workers to get more than two thirds majority in the next elections. It is also reported that many important decisions are likely to be announced in the plenary session of TRS.
