President Telangana Pradesh Congress Uttam Kumar Reddy flayed TRS government for not providing 12 pc reservations to Muslims. He claimed that TRS government’s countdown had begun. Addressing a press conference here at Gandhi Bhawan Uttam Reddy told that TRS forgot its promise of Muslim reservation after coming to power. He told that this is the second time that the blessed month of Ramadan arrived after TRS came to power but sadly Muslims could not get reservations so far. Congress party strongly condemn this, he said.
Uttam Reddy further told that Chief Minister had promised to provide reservations, remove illegal occupations on Waqf properties and hand over the same to Waqf Board and to give legal status to Waqf Board within four months of getting power but the promise had not been fulfilled so far.
Meanwhile working president Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka told that if promises made to Muslims especially 12 pc reservations were not implemented, Congress would begin protest campaign against TRS government on large scale.
