Hyderabad, January 05 (INN): Telangana Rashtra Samithi floor leader Etela Rajender on Wednesday stated that his party would field its candidates in the bye-elections to be held in Parakala and Mahbubnagar assembly constituencies.
Talking to media persons at Telangana Bhavan, he said that the party would finalise its candidates’ list soon after convening a meeting with party president K Chandrasekhar Rao. He expressed confidence that the TRS would win in all constituencies with highest majority.
When the reporters asked about fielding its candidate in Nagarkurnool segment, which was vacated by Telangana Nagara Samithi president Nagam Janardhan Reddy, he said the party has not taken any decision on it.
Responding to YSR Congress president Jagan Mohan Reddy’s Odarpu Yatra in Telangana region, he said that the TRS would not allow him to visit Nizamabad district without making his stand clear on statehood issue. (INN)
