Mr. K.Chandrasekhara Rao has practically started preparations for the next general elections. He has started finalizing the names of the prospective TRS candidates for various Assembly and Parliamentary constituencies He is consulting the local leaders of the districts to elicit information about the strong candidates who could poll maximum votes.
It is expected that after 2014 general elections, TRS will be in a position of King Maker.
It is, therefore, not in a mood to form political alliance with any party before general elections. TRS would be the first party, which would declare the list of its candidates before the other parties could do so.
He had decided to contest from Medak. Seeing the increasing opposition for Telangana Movement in Mahboobnagar, he has changed his parliamentary constituency from Mahboobnagar to Medak. The difficulty is that Ms. Vijay Shanthi is not prepared to relinquish Medak Parliamentary Constituency. In case, Ms. Vijay Shanthi doesn’t get a ticket from Medak, she has made-up her mind to quit TRS Party.
Mr. K.Chandrasekhara Rao has decided to allot Nizamabad parliamentary constituency to his daughter. Mr. Kaveetha, President of Telangana Jagruthi. Her nomination could be announced in Armoor of Nizamabad District at a public meeting to be held in the last week of this month. TRS had invited Congress M.P., Mr. Madhu Goud Yashki to join TRS. Since Mr. Goud didn’t accept this offer, it has been decided to allot this constituency to Ms. Kaveetha. Nizamabad has more number of TRS MLA’s. Mr. KCR is certain that his daughter, Ms. Kaveetha might win this seat with a thumping majority.
