Hyderabad: TRS MLC Srinivas Reddy today complained to the Election Commission on the use of social media for maligning the images of the leaders.
Srinivas Reddy called on CEO Rajat Kumar at Secretariat here and submitted his plea against the use of social media violating the election code in the State. He opposed the Social Media for giving wide coverage of survey reports against the TRS party. He urged the EC to take action against the social media to desist from such activities. He said that though EC has issued the notification for the polls and code was prevailing in the State, the social media was not f following EC guidelines.
